On May 23, 2008 Blaylock Engineering Group announced consolidation of its operations with Moffatt & Nichol, a globally recognized maritime infrastructure consulting firm. The combined operation, known as Moffatt & Nichol Blaylock, enhances the capabilities of both firms in the areas of marine engineering and facility inspection and rehabilitation with a particular focus on the design and repair of marine structures and development of repair schemes to extend the useful service life of marine facilities. The expanded services position both firms to better serve their port, military, and transportation clients.
